Mallorca - Part 3

We took it easy today, partly because of a couple of long days behind us, partly because of an early flight tomorrow and partly because of a super long and super fast (not) run this morning along the Palma esplanade.

We jumped in the car and after some cheeky retail therapy at a shopping outlet, we headed South.

Santanyi would normally blow us away, but after visiting so many cool places on the island, we are embarrassed to say that it seemed a little same-same.  Nonetheless, we had a good feed of some tapas for lunch in the town square by the church and it was all very pleasant.

5km away, was a secluded spot on the cliff face called Es Pontes.  It describes a natural arch (like a small version of the Old London Bridge on the Great Ocean Road).

Finally, we stopped at Cala Figuera for some gelato.  The town is set on a very protected inlet with cafes and bars along the little harbour.

We say goodbye to Mallorca tomorrow morning.  We can't speak highly enough of the versatility this island has to offer.  We think more Aussies should join all the Germans and Poms who seem to love it here and come in droves.
